An accomplished actor on stage and screen, Liam O'Brien is also one of Ireland's finest interpreters of swing and lounge music. Having played Dean Martin for two years in the West End production of The Rat Pack - Live from Las Vegas, he has defined his own crooning sound through multiple sold out appearances in Ireland and the UK. Venues include the Sands venues in Blackpool and Gainsborough, the Roundhouse in London and the world famous Royal Albert Hall to a full house in 'Carols with the Stars'. His own show Crooning at Christmas celebrated 10 years last year December with its first major Irish tour both north and south of the border, and is a sell out every year in his hometown of Limerick. Most recently Liam played Feste for a 10 month world tour in Edward Hall's production of Twelfth Night, cast equally for his musical and acting chops. The show toured the UK, USA and European highlights including Milan, Madrid and Paris. He is a versatile entertainer and is at home singing the legendary saloon songs of Sinatra, as he is the up tempo rock and roll of The Beatles, Elvis and more. He also spent some years playing a vicar on Emmerdale but never got to sing in church.
